Synopsis
Iron Sights
When Soviet Russia bombs Helsinki and invades Finland, The Finns find themselves with their backs against the wall, with no other nation coming to help. Simo Häyhä and his regiment must put their differences aside and band together in order to protect their homeland from certain annihilation.
Simo must summon a Finnish trait known as “Sisu”, channeling the utmost courage and resilience in the face of certain death. But as his kill count increases and his notoriety grows, Simo grapples with who he is becoming; has he remained the humble man he once was, or has the impact of war transformed him into something different?

Simo Häyhä
In the winter of 1939, Finnish sharpshooter Simo Häyhä is forced to defend his homeland and protect his family from soviet invaders, only to become the most prolific sniper in military history with 542 kills in
100 days.
The White Death
A ghost in the wind, seemingly everywhere yet nowhere to be seen. Faint shots in the distance, death all around you. Seldomly heard, always present. He is the one the Red Army fears most. The one who doesn’t miss. Most are hesitant to even whisper the name…
The White Death.

Sisu
Sisu is a uniquely Finnish concept roughly translated as: Strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain that courage. It is a word that cannot be fully translated. Simo Häyhä is the human embodiment of Sisu
which will be exemplified in Iron Sights.
